This is the "B" version that is required to pass Caller ID to a Single Line Telephone.
Use the 4ASTU to connect four analog devices such as fax machines, modems, or single line telephones to your NEC DS2000.
The 4ASTU PCB is identical to the 8ASTU PCB, except that it provides connection for only 4 analog extensions. The 4ASTU PCB has a Mode Switch (for taking the PCB out of service), a status LED indicating proper PCB operation, and a port activity LED to indicate traffic on the PCB. The number of 4ASTU PCBs you can install depends on system configuration. Turn to DS2000 System Configuration on page 22 for more.
